Here at Montione's, we use loads of fresh ingredients in our twice-baked biscotti. The same ingredients you would find in your own kitchen. These ingredients give my Mother's special recipe their awesome taste that no other company has been able to duplicate. We add just enough butter to give them a delicious taste, as well as an easy-to-bite dipping quality without being too brittle and hard. And there is still only four to seven grams of fat per one ounce piece, depending on the flavor. So now you can not only dip and enjoy the crunch, you can savor the taste and all the flavor too! Many of my customers tell us that our biscotti are better than cookies, because you can eat them like a cookie or dip them. A rich chocolate flavor just in time for Valentine's Day!
All Biscotti Flavors:
Almond. Our traditional Almond Biscotti is where it all started. It was my Motherís original recipe, made with a generous amount of hand roasted almonds. Easy-to-bite, yet crunchy to dip and enjoy.
Chocolate Covered Almond. Our traditional Almond Biscotti baked from my Motherís original recipe, made with a generous amount of hand roasted almonds, then lavishly dipped in chocolate. Easy-to-bite, yet crunchy to dip and enjoy.
Cape Cod Cranberry. My Mother's traditional handmade recipe baked with succulent chewy sweetened dried cranberries and just a touch of natural orange flavor. They're a tribute to the historical state berry of Massachusetts and Old Cape Cod.
Anisette. Another flavor my Mother regularly used. Anisette is one of the most traditional Italian flavors with its licoric aroma and taste.
Lemon. My Mother also used the traditional flavor of lemon, a zesty yet subtle taste for the family biscotti recipe.
Brownie Chip Dipped in Chocolate. A chocolate lovers dream! These biscotti are baked with cocoa and chocolate chips then covered lavishly with dark chocolate.
Chocolate Hazelnut. Whole handroasted hazelnuts are mixed into this chocolatey batter. These fragrant flavorful nuts give our Chocolate Hazelnut biscotti their unique and traditional taste.
Chocolate Covered Chocolate Hazelnut. If you love fragrant flavorful hazelnuts with lots of chocolate, this flavor is perfect for you! We take our Chocolate Hazelnut Biscotti, baked with whole handroasted hazelnuts, and lavishly cover them in dark chocolate.
Vanilla Chocolate Chip. With Massachusetts being the birthplace of the legendary Toll House Cookie, it was only natural to take these tasty morsels and add them to my Mother's traditional handmade biscotti, thus honoring my family tradition with the history of our New England home!
Cape Cod Cranberry Chocolate Dipped. Our Cape Cod Cranberry Biscotti lavishly dipped in deep dark chocolate. What a combo!
Snickerdoodle (Cinnamon Sugar). I read that the Snickerdoodle was named from a New England tradition of whimsical cookie names. Cinnamon is very delicious with coffee or tea. So we created this cinnamon biscotti then generously dust it with cinnamon and sugar.
Maple Walnut. New England is known for its maple sugaring and maple syrup. So it was only fitting we bake a maple biscotti with lightly roasted walnuts.
Ginger. Those people who love ginger, love our Ginger Biscotti. A dear friend once told me that our ginger biscotti were soothing and comforting.
