Montione's Biscotti is more than just flour, sugar and all of our other ingredients. We are about people and our community. Our Biscotti Tastings have created much enthusiasm. Meet new people, help the community and taste our delicious biscotti at the same time!

  • November 6, 2010, Author Visit & Book Reading. Linda Cardillo visited our bakery for a book reading and discussion of her latest novel, Across the Table. Set in Boston's North End after WWII, Across the Table is a woman's "unforgettable story of family and forgiveness, loyalty and love." Ms. Cardillo has said that her books are "nourished by my own memories of growing up Italian in America." Ms. Cardillo is an accomplished writer, including nonfiction works on marketing and corporate.   • November 7, 2009, Holiday Biscotti Tasting. American Diabetes Association (AMA) Youth Group of Boston attended, story time (reading "Duffy's Dilemma") and a portion of sales was donated to the AMA http://diabetes.org.   • 2008-2009. We were busy renovating, moving to and settling into a new location (while continuing to bake at our old location) between 2008-2009. The actual move took place August 2009, but it took some time to get settled in. We are now restablishing ourselves in our new neighborhood and look forward to planning some community events.

  • June 7, 2008, Annual Ice Cream Party & Biscotti Tasting. We served biscotti to dip, as well as crushed biscotti to sprinkle over ice cream! This tasting benefited Boston Childrens Hospital Cardiology.   • October 20, 2007. This tasting benefited Breast Cancer Research at Massachusetts General Hosptial (MGH) in Boston. Lori Brown of North Attleboro shared her insights with visitors about managing the disease herself.
